My Facts:
- Became a Christian in 1997
- BA in Psychology from UNC Asheville in 2000
- MA in Apologetics from Southern Evangelical Seminary in 2006
- Training in Biblical Counseling from Helps Mission in 2011
- Worked in mental health and similar jobs from 2000 - 2012
- Founded Grace Abounds Biblical Counseling in 2012
My Heart in Ministry:
From the time I came to know the Lord in 1997, my passion has been and remains helping people by assisting them in looking to Jesus as the One who gives them the grace to overcome their challenges and become more like Him. All my education, training, and experience has been to help me become a more effective tool in the hands of God as I walk with people through their trials.
My Life Outside of Work:
Aside from counseling, I enjoy watching adventure movies, reading theology books, discussing worldview and culture, following and playing sports and making jokes. I am married to my lovely wife, Misty, and we have several children: Stacey (miscarried), Seth, Luke, Abigail, and Zach, who are all growing up way too fast.
