My Heart in Ministry:

From the time I came to know the Lord in 1997, my passion has been and remains helping people by assisting them in looking to Jesus as the One who gives them the grace to overcome their challenges and become more like Him. All my education, training, and experience has been to help me become a more effective tool in the hands of God as I walk with people through their trials.

My Life Outside of Work:

Aside from counseling, I enjoy watching movies, reading theology books, discussing worldview and culture, following and playing sports and making <dad> jokes. I am married to my lovely wife, Misty, and we have several children: Stacey (miscarried), Seth, Luke, Abigail, and Zach, who are young adults and teens.

My Heart for Ministry:

Ever since I was in high school, I was the person getting 3am crisis phone calls from friends in need. Through the journey the LORD has brought me on I believe I have been positioned to see the various parts of the counseling journey gone good and bad, whether on the Crisis side in law enforcement or the Pastoral side in shepherding. My heart is to see people come to a true knowledge of themselves in the Light of Christ.  I want to see people walk in the abundant life that is their walk with Christ, to get a God's eye perspective on their trials, to be sanctified by Him as they behold their Savior.

My Life Outside of Counseling:

Outside of the counseling room, I enjoy a few small things: I genuinely love and cherish my time with my family.  Jess, my beautiful wife of 10 years and my two boys Malachi and Micah are my delight and I can't ever get enough time with them.  I stay fit and regularly workout and run but with whatever time remains, I serve my church in various roles and ministries and love reading old theology books.
